Using Filters to customize your Calendar View
If you manage multiple rooms, staff members, or types of services, your calendar can fill up fast. To help you stay organized and find exactly what you're looking for, Swift offers a flexible filtering system built into your calendar.
Accessing the Filter Menu
To get started, head to the Calendar tab and click the Filter View button in the top-right corner. This will open a panel where you can adjust a number of display settings to tailor your calendar view.
Once the filter menu is open, you can adjust the following settings:
- Toggle Between Bookings or Availabilities
- Bookings: View scheduled sessions or classes.
- Availabilities: See when staff members are available for lessons.
- Filter by Staff Member: Narrow your calendar view to bookings or availability related to specific staff:
- Use the dropdown menu to select one or more staff members.
- Only events involving those selected will appear.
- Leave Options Empty to Show All: If you don’t select any filters, the calendar will display all bookings.
- Toggle Room Visibility: You can hide or show specific rooms on the calendar by checking/unchecking their associated box. This helps you focus on the rooms that matter most at the moment.
Save Your Filtered View
Once you've selected the filters you need, you can save this customized view so it’s ready every time you return to the calendar:
- Click the Save icon (💾) in the top-right corner of the filter panel.
- Your settings will be remembered automatically, and the filtered view will be displayed on the Calendar in the future.
