Waitlists for Lessons, Camps and Classes

When a lesson, camp, or class reaches its participant limit, players can join a waitlist to be notified via SMS and email if a spot opens up. This helps ensure no opportunity is missed when availability changes.


How the waitlist works

  • Once a session is full, the option to join the waitlist becomes available
  • Players can add themselves to the waitlist for that specific session, or the facility can also add a customer to the Waitlist in Admin via the Calendar
  • Availability is offered on a first-come, first-served basis

How to turn on the Waitlist feature for a class, camp or lesson

You can turn on the Waitlist feature at the individual service level for every camp, class or lesson. For example,

  1. Go to Services > Camps
  2. Open the individual camp service
  3. Expand the Advanced Settings section
  4. For Waitlists, toggle Enable Waitlists to ON
  5. If you would like the system to automatically notify customer on the waitlist once a spot opens up, you can also toggle "Notify customers when a spot opens up" to ON
  6. Click Save

Note: Turning on the waitlist feature will mean that each individual session for Lessons and Classes will have a waitlist. For camps, the entire camp series will have a waitlist.


How to add a participant to the Waitlist for a session

As long as the Waitlist feature has been enabled for the individual service, the facility can also add participants to the Waitlist.

  1. In Admin, go to the Calendar page
  2. Click on the booking tile and select Manage Participants and Payments (second) icon
  3. Click the View Waitlist button
  4. Type in the name of the participant and select their profile once it appears
