Adding Swift To a Desktop or Mobile Phone Home Screen
Both of these actions are completed in a similar manner.
Adding Swift To Your Desktop
Use the following steps to add Swift to your desktop:
Navigate To The Left Side Of The Address Bar
With the Swift home page open, navigate to the left side of the address bar.
Click And Hold The Icon, Then Drag It To Your Desktop
Click on and hold the icon mentioned above, then continue to hold it and drag your mouse over to your desktop. Release the click once you've dragged it to the desired place on your desktop.
Rename The Link
Once the website has been added to your desktop, right-click the icon, select the rename button, and pick a name of your choice.
Test The Icon
Once you've renamed your icon, test it to make sure that it works. If it's directing you to the intended section of Swift, you've successfully added the icon to your desktop!
Adding Swift To Your iPhone
To add Swift to your iPhone, use the following steps:
Click The Share Button At The Bottom Of The Screen
The share button will appear as box with an upwards arrow coming out of it.
Click "Add to Home Screen"
Scroll down through the options that appear until you reach the button that says "Add to Home Screen." It should have an icon beside it that consists of a "+" inside of a square.
Name The Addition
After clicking this option, another pop-up will appear asking you to name the icon that will be added to your home screen. Select a name of your choice, then click the blue "Add" text in the top right corner.
Test The Icon
Your icon should now be successfully added to your home screen! Make sure to test the icon to ensure that it is directing you to the page your want to reach.
Adding Swift To Your Android
To add Swift to your Android phone, use the following steps:
Click The Three Dots Icon
Navigate to your Swift homepage and in the upper right-hand corner of your browser, you'll see a menu icon represented by three dots. Click that icon to begin the process.
Click "Add to Home Screen"
Just like on an iPhone, there will be an option to click a button that says "Add to Home Screen." Click that button.
Name The Addition
Similar to an iPhone, a pop-up will appear asking you to name the icon that will be added to your home screen. Click the "Add" text once you've named it accordingly.
Then, click on the "Add to home screen" button to place it on your home screen.
Test The Icon
Now that the icon has been added to your home screen, test it to make sure it takes you to where you want to go.
